    Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Agama Bagi Siswa Berkemampuan Rendah Melalui Penerapan Model Cooperative Team Games Tournament

    Rendahnya kemampuan siswa pada pelajaran agama harus dicarikan solusinya. Salah satunya yang terjadi di SDN 4 Bajur, Keacamatan Labuapi, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Sebagian besar siswa di sini memiliki kemampuan rendah dalam pelajaran agama. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan upaya tindakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami pelajaran agama. Tindakan yang dilakukan adalah menerapkan Model Cooperative Team Games Tournament (TGT) pada pembelajaran. Penelitian ini didesain dalam bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan model Cooperative Team Games Tournament dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 4 Bajur? Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga siklus. Pada masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini aalah siswa kelas V dengan jumlah siswa 26. Indikator keberhasilan tindakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain: 1.  Jika minimal 75% dari keseluruhan siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian telah mencapai ketuntasan. Ketuntasan individual ditetapkan 75%, sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal ditetapkan sebesar 85%. 2. Jika terdapat perubahan atau peningkatan prestasi belajar bagi siswa berkemanpuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan tiga siklus terdapat peningkatan kemampuan klasikal. Pada siklus pertama ketuntasan klasikal 26%, siklus kedua 62% dan siklus ketiga 96%. Prestasi belajar siswa berkemampuan rendah juga telah mengalami peningkatan. Selama tiga kali siklus hanya satu siswa yang dinyatakan tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan dua indikator tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model TGT berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

    Abstract This study aims to determine the influence of price, word of mouth, and service quality on purchasing decisions of fast food consumers at Sabana Fried Chicken Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta. The research approach is quantitative with causal associative research methods. The population in this study were consumers of Sabana Fried Chicken, Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta, while the research sample was 100 consumers of Sabana Fried Chicken, Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta who met the criteria. The data in this study are primary data by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is path analysis using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of the study concluded that 1) Price had a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for fast food consumers at Sabana Fried Chicken Cilincing Branch, North Jakarta, 2) Word of mouth had a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions for fast food consumers in Sabana.     This study aims to determine the influence of e-WOM (X1), online customer reviews (X2), and perceived value (X3) on purchase intention. This research uses the type of associative research with a quantitative approach method. The data collection method uses a questionnaire which is measured using a Likert scale. The population in this study were all Avoskinusers. The sampling method used a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of STEI Jakarta students who had purchased at least one purchase of local Avoskin skin care products. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 102 respondents. Data processing techniques use theSmartPLS 3.2.9 program to test the outer model, inner model and hypotheses .The results of this study indicate that e-WOM has a significant influence on purchase intention, Online Customer Reviews have no significant influence on purchase intention, Perceived Value has a significant influence on Purchase Intention

    Mata pelajaran matematika merupakan mata pelajaran yang perlu diberikan kepada peserta didik mulai dari sekolah dasar (SD), dengan tujuan untuk membekali peserta didik dengan kemampuan berfikir logis, analitis, sintetis, kritis dan kreatif, serta kemampuan bekerjasama. Beberapa hal yang diperoleh di lapangan berkaitan dengan pembelajaran matematika adalah anggapan siswa bahwa pembelajaran matematika itu membosankan, susah, dan sulit dipahami. Selain itu, dalam pembelajaran matematika kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Hal ini akan berdampak pada kurangnya antusiasme sehingga siswa sulit memahami pelajaran. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya sebuah inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Media pembelajaran khususnya komputer sebagai salah satu sarana untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan hasil belajar dapat menjadi sebuah solusi allternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika menggunakan multimedia interaktif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, siswa juga mempunyai sikap yang positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika menggunakan multimedia interaktif. Pada pembelajaran menggunakan multimedia interaktif siswa merasa senang belajar matematika, dan termotivasi untuk belajar matematika. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat dijadikan sebagai solusi alternatif dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD

    PRO-GOVERNMENT MILITIAS IN IRAQ: A THREAT TO HUMAN RIGHTS AND STABILITY

    Along with Iraqi security forces, pro-government militias, known as Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF, also “Hashd al-Shaabi” in Arabic), played a significant role in defeating ISIS. Iraq's engagement with these armed groups during the fight against ISIS empowered and legitimised them within the country. Yet, they often committed human rights violations and were involved in violent activities against the United States embassy, personnel, and military bases. However, since 2014, these groups have been acting as pro-government militias and are legally part of the Iraqi security forces. Yet, some of them have declared loyalty to Iran and act as proxy forces for Tehran. This article argues that pro-government militias in post-ISIS Iraq have negative impacts on security and human rights in the country because most of these groups were previously established based on sectarian factors and proximity to Iran. It also argues that while they are largely regarded as having had an essential role in defeating ISIS, their presence in a post-ISIS Iraq will threaten Iraq's stability

    ABSTRAK Sawah merupakan media atau sarana untuk memproduksi padi. Sawah yang subur akan menghasilkan padi yang baik. Indonesia termasuk Negara agraris yang sebagian wilayahnya adalah pertanian, yang dapat memproduksi padi lebih banyak. Namun, karena adanya pembangunan pabrik atau bangunan lainnya di lahan pertanian, menyebabkan produksi pertanian kian berkurang. Perhitungan luas area tanaman padi dilakukan dengan melakukan overlay antara peta hasil klasifikasi dengan peta hasil NDVI pada citra Landsat 8. Sedangkan untuk menghitung produksinya dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ubinan seperti yang dilakukan oleh BPS dan Dinas Pertanian. Luas area tanaman padi di Kota Pekalongan yaitu sebesar 664,96 hektar dengan nilai luas terbesar berada di Kecamatan Pekalongan Selatan yaitu sebesar 425,33 hektar dan luas terkecil berada di Kecamatan Pekalongan Barat yaitu sebesar 16,86 hektar. Sedangkan nilai produksi padinya diperkirakan mencapai 4443,05 ton gabah dengan produksi terbesar berada di Kecamatan Pekalongan Selatan yaitu sebesar 2841,92 ton dan produksi terkecil berada di Kecamatan Pekalongan Barat yaitu sebesar 112,65 ton. Indonesia is an agrarian country which is most of the territory is agriculture that can produce rice in the high scale. However, due to the construction of factory or other building on the farmland, causing the agricultural production is diminished. The calculation for the area of paddy crop is done by overlaying between the map's result of the classification with the map's result of NDVI on the citra landsat 8. Whereas, for counting the production is done by using ubinan method as performed by the BPS and the Department of Agriculture. The farmland paddy's area in Pekalongan in the amount of 664,96 hectares with the largest area is in the sub district of south Pekalongan in the amount of 425,33 hectares and the smallest area is in the sub district of south Pekalongan in the amount of 16,86 hectares. While the value of paddy production is estimated at 4443,05 tons of unhulled rice with the largest production in the Sub district of South Pekalongan in the amount of 2841,92 tons and the smallest production located in the sub district of West Pekalongan in the amount of 112,65 tons.     Antidiabetic effects and enzymatic antioxidant activity of chicken drumstick mushroom (Coprinus comatus) extract in diabetic rats model

    Coprinus comatus (O.F. Mull.) Pers. is a medicinal and edible mushroom containing bioactive compounds known as antidiabetic and antioxidant agents. The pancreatic β-cells were sensitive to reactive oxygen species (ROS) attacks, which can cause necrosis and disrupt insulin production. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the C. comatus ethyl acetate extract for antidiabetic and antioxidant to decrease fasting blood glucose, dipeptidyl peptidase-4 enzyme (DPP-4) levels, and increase glutathione peroxidase (GPx). Subsequently, 24 male Wistar rats were divided into six groups, namely 2-5 streptozotocin (STZ)-induced 45 mg/kg, 1/HC (without any treatment), 2/NC (negative control), 3/PC (administered metformin 45 mg/kg Body weight (BW), 4-6 (T1: administered 250 mg, T2: administered 500 mg, and T3: administered 750 mg/kg BW extract). The parameters were analyzed using ANOVA, followed by Duncan’s multiple range test. According to the results, the extract significantly decreased DPP-4 levels, blood glucose and increased GPx (p ≤ 0.05). The 500 mg extract effectively reduced blood glucose levels and DPP-4 enzyme as well as increased levels of GPx

    Renoprotection by Garcinia mangostana L. pericarp extract in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice

    The purpose of this study was to evaluate the renoprotective effect of the Garcinia mangostana L. pericarp extract (GMPE) on plasma creatinine and renal proximal tubules of streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. This study used 36 male Balb/c strain mice. The samples were divided into 6 groups, namely KN (normal control), KD (diabetic control), KM (metformin control), and P (treatment group) comprising: P1 (50 mg GMPE/kg body weight), P2 (100 mg GMPE/kg body weight), as well as P3 (200 mg GMPE/kg body weight). The GMPE and metformin suspension were administered orally for 14 days on the diabetic mice. The diabetes was induced by intraperitoneal injection of STZ multiple at low-dose of 30 mg/kg body weight daily for five consecutive days. On day 15, mice were terminated. Data of plasma creatinine and renal proximal tubule damage levels or the number of swelling and necrosis cells were analyzed. Interestingly and it showed that administration of GMPE could reduce the plasma creatinine level and the ameliorate renal proximal tubules of streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice. In conclusion, the renoprotective effect of GMPE in streptozotocin-induced diabetic mice was associated with the attenuation in oxidative stress and inflammatory, which also had antidiabetic and antioxidant activities

    A distance vector hop-based secure and robust localization algorithm for wireless sensor networks

    Location information of sensor nodes in a wireless sensor network is important. The sensor nodes are usually required to ascertain their positions so that the data collected by these nodes can be labeled with this information. On the other hand, certain attacks on wireless sensor networks lead to the incorrect estimation of sensor node positions. In such situations, when the location information is not correct, the data may be labeled with wrong location information that may subvert the desired operation of the wireless sensor network. In this work, we formulate and propose a distance vector hop-based algorithm to provide secure and robust localization in the presence of malicious sensor nodes that result in incorrect position estimation and jeopardize the wireless sensor network operation. The algorithm uses cryptography to ensure secure and robust operation in the presence of adversaries in the sensor network. As a result of the countermeasures, the attacks are neutralized and the sensor nodes are able to estimate their positions as desired. Our secure localization algorithm provides a defense against various types of security attacks, such as selective forwarding, wormhole, Sybil, tampering, and traffic replay, compared with other algorithms which provide security against only one or two types. Simulation experiments are performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed method, and the results indicate that our secure localization algorithm achieves the design objectives successfully. Performance of the proposed method is also compared with the performance of basic distance vector hop algorithm and two secure algorithms based on distance vector hop localization. The results reveal that our proposed secure localization algorithm outperforms the compared algorithms in the presence of multiple attacks by malicious nodes

    Cancer LncRNA Census reveals evidence for deep functional conservation of long noncoding RNAs in tumorigenesis.

    Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are a growing focus of cancer genomics studies, creating the need for a resource of lncRNAs with validated cancer roles. Furthermore, it remains debated whether mutated lncRNAs can drive tumorigenesis, and whether such functions could be conserved during evolution. Here, as part of the ICGC/TCGA Pan-Cancer Analysis of Whole Genomes (PCAWG) Consortium, we introduce the Cancer LncRNA Census (CLC), a compilation of 122 GENCODE lncRNAs with causal roles in cancer phenotypes. In contrast to existing databases, CLC requires strong functional or genetic evidence. CLC genes are enriched amongst driver genes predicted from somatic mutations, and display characteristic genomic features. Strikingly, CLC genes are enriched for driver mutations from unbiased, genome-wide transposon-mutagenesis screens in mice. We identified 10 tumour-causing mutations in orthologues of 8 lncRNAs, including LINC-PINT and NEAT1, but not MALAT1. Thus CLC represents a dataset of high-confidence cancer lncRNAs. Mutagenesis maps are a novel means for identifying deeply-conserved roles of lncRNAs in tumorigenesis
